Privacy policy.

This page explains what data we collect when you use golfcoachwebsites.com, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and how to ask us to export or delete it. The service is operated by Altitude Branding LLC (“we,” “us”).

1. Data we collect

  • Account data — your name, email address, and a secure password hash (never your password in plaintext) when you sign up.
  • Location — the city, state, or country you tell us (used to localize your site), plus the approximate IP-derived country we get from request headers.
  • Payment data — handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. We receive metadata from Stripe (last 4 digits, card brand, billing country, customer and subscription IDs).
  • Intake data — anything you provide so we can build your site: photos, bio, lesson packages, testimonials, pricing, schedule, links to existing accounts.
  • Usage data — pages visited on golfcoachwebsites.com, referring URL, broad device type. Collected only after you accept analytics cookies in our consent banner (see section 7).
  • Communications — the contents of emails and form submissions you send to us, plus our replies.

2. How we use it

  • To build, deploy, and operate your website and the golfcoachwebsites.com customer surfaces (account, billing, support).
  • To send transactional email — receipts, build status, refund confirmations, password resets, scheduled-call reminders.
  • To contact you about your subscription. We don't send marketing email unless you've specifically asked to be on the list.
  • To detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, or security incidents.
  • To comply with legal obligations (tax, accounting, lawful requests from authorities).

3. Sub-processors

We use a small number of vetted providers to run the service. Each is bound by a data processing agreement and processes data only as our processor:

  • Stripe — payment processing, subscription billing, refunds.
  • Supabase — database, authentication, file storage for intake data.
  • Resend — transactional email delivery.
  • Vercel — hosting, CDN, basic deploy-time analytics.
  • Sentry — application error tracking. PII is scrubbed before events are sent. Session replay is disabled until you grant analytics consent.
  • Google Calendar — booking sync for scheduled calls. When you book a call via /book, your name, email, and the requested time are sent to the Google Calendar API to create the event and Meet link.
  • Domain registrars (varies by domain) — when we register a domain on your behalf, the registrar is given the contact details required by ICANN.

4. Where data is stored

Primary storage is in the United States, in regions operated by our sub-processors. If you sign up from the UK or EU, your data is transferred to the US under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the Standard Contractual Clauses our processors maintain.

5. Your rights

Regardless of where you live, you can ask us to:

  • Export your data (GDPR Articles 15 & 20, CCPA “right to know”) — we package your account data, intake data, and the files associated with your project into a downloadable archive and email you a 7-day expiring link. Turnaround is up to 7 business days.
  • Correct your data — most fields are editable directly from /account. For anything you can't edit, email us.
  • Delete your account (GDPR Article 17, CCPA “right to delete”) — we run a final export, soft-delete your record, and complete anonymization of personal fields after a 90-day grace period.
  • Object or restrict — tell us what you want to limit and we'll work with you on it.
  • Withdraw consent — for analytics specifically, use the cookie controls in the consent banner (or clear the consent cookie and reload the page).

The fastest path is the “Export my content” or “Delete my account” links on /account — both open a pre-filled email to support that we route internally. Otherwise, email support@golfcoachwebsites.com from the address on the account.

6. Retention

We keep customer data for as long as the subscription is active. After cancellation, data is held for 90 days (in case you want it back, or you re-subscribe), then soft-deleted. Personal fields are anonymized at the end of the 90-day grace. Aggregate, non-identifying records may be retained for accounting and capacity planning.

Some records have legally mandated retention (invoices, tax-relevant payment records). Those are kept for the period required by US and applicable state law.

7. Cookies

We use a minimal set of cookies. The consent banner you saw on first visit lets you opt in or out of the optional categories.

Necessary (always on)

  • Supabase auth and session cookies — keep you signed in.
  • CSRF / consent state — protects forms and remembers your cookie preferences.

Analytics (opt-in)

  • Vercel Analytics — page-view metrics with no cross-site tracking.
  • Our own analytics_events writer — internal funnel measurement, only fires after consent.

Marketing

No marketing cookies in v1. The category is reserved in the consent banner for future use; if and when we add any, the banner will surface them and your previous “allow” choice will not auto-apply to a new category.

8. For California residents (CCPA / CPRA)

If you're a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act gives you specific rights, all of which we honor:

  • Right to know what personal information we've collected, used, and shared in the last 12 months — covered by the export path in section 5.
  • Right to delete — covered by the deletion path in section 5.
  • Right to correct inaccurate personal information — covered above.
  • Right to non-discrimination — exercising any privacy right will not change your pricing, features, or service quality.
  • Right to opt out of sale or sharing — we don't sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. There is nothing to opt out of.

You can exercise any of these by emailing support@golfcoachwebsites.com.

9. Children

The service is intended for use by adults — golf coaches and academy operators. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If a coach uploads testimonials or photos that include junior students, we treat that content as the coach's responsibility and process it only on the coach's instruction. If you believe we have data on a minor without proper consent, email us and we'll remove it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced by email to your account address at least 30 days before they take effect. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the current version.

11. Contact

Privacy questions go to support@golfcoachwebsites.com. We'll route privacy-specific requests to ops; expect a response within 2 business days.
