Refund policy.
Plain version up top: if you ask for a refund within 14 days of your first charge, you get the first month back. After day 14, no refunds on partial months. The rest of this page is the detail.
1. Eligibility
You can request a full refund of your first month's subscription charge if the request is submitted within 14 calendar days of the original Stripe charge on your account. The clock starts the moment Stripe captures the first payment. After day 14, the window has closed and we don't issue refunds on partial or completed billing periods.
The 14-day window applies once, to the first charge only. It does not reset on tier changes, renewals, or future months.
2. What gets refunded
The first month's subscription fee, in full, back to the card you paid with. Stripe processes the return — funds usually land within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
Domain registration costs are non-refundable. If we paid a registrar to register a new domain on your behalf, that out-of-pocket cost stays with us. The domain is still yours regardless — see section 4.
3. What happens to your site
A refund cancels the subscription too. We don't pull the site down on the spot — it stays live through the end of the current billing period. After that, hosting stops. Your domain points where you tell it to point.
If you want a copy of your content (copy, images, testimonials) before hosting ends, ask. We'll export it for you. Details in our Terms of Service under ownership.
4. Your domain stays yours
Refund or no refund, cancellation or no cancellation — the domain belongs to you. It was registered (or transferred) into your name from day one. You keep the registrar account and the renewal bill.
5. How to request a refund
Two paths, depending on whether you're signed in:
- Existing customer with an account: go to /account and use the “Request refund” option. The form pre-fills your purchase date so we can verify the window immediately.
- Anyone else: email support@golfcoachwebsites.com with the email address you used at checkout. Subject line “Refund request” helps us route it.
Eligible requests are processed within 1–3 business days. You'll get an email confirmation when Stripe issues the return.
6. Why 14 days
Two weeks is short enough that we can be honest about the rest of the deal — a 1-year minimum subscription, then month-to-month — without selling you a window so wide it stops meaning anything. It's also long enough that anyone with real buyer's remorse, or a real reason the site isn't the right fit, has a clean way out.
If something goes wrong outside the 14-day window — a feature broke, the site went down, we missed a deadline — that's a support issue, not a refund issue. Email us. We fix it.
